Training 9:00-10:30 on Saturday

We've decided to run training this week (Saturday Feb 16th) seeing as we've missed a lot of football recently.

If you have other half-term/holiday arrangements that's OK - we'll run it for those who want to come along.

There's no match scheduled for Sunday (as it's half-term) - hopefully all back to normal next weekend.

U10s: Training Cancelled - No match scheduled (Sat 11th/Sun 12th Feb)

Due to the unsafe, frozen conditions U10s training is cancelled this week (tomorrow) - and we have no match scheduled.

If the weather improves for next weekend we can run training for those who are available - obviously it's the back-end of half-term so some players may not be available.

There is currently no match scheduled for next weekend.

Over the next couple of weeks there will be a lot of re-arrangements to the league fixtures as we attempt to make up for postponed matches in the recent bad weather - so stay tuned!

Our game tomorrow has been postponed due to the cold and snowy weather.

So - enjoy a lie in and/or get out sledging and snowballing!

U10s: Advice on - Weather, Training & Match

We're expecting some cold, maybe snowy weather over the weekend - so here's note on what we'll do with the U10s:

Training:

We'll likely run training whatever the weather - unless really extreme.
We can do non-contact (no tackling) games/drills and keep things safe
If it's really cold or wet we can finish early
We assume it's generally better to do something rather than nothing
We assume players/parents know how to dress for cold and/or wet weather!

Match:

If the ground is too hard (frost/ice) it is deemed "unsafe" and then the game will be called off/postponed
If it s snowing heavily and/or the pitch is covered in snow then the the game will be called off/postponed

I will send text messages if wither training or the match are called off + will post an update here.

U10: Home to Catterick Garrison FC Sharks on Sunday (5th February)

On Sunday we have re-arranged last week's postponed match vs the Garrison Sharks.
However as they have no available pitches we will host the game at our place - whilst officially it is still their fixture.

Our game today (Away to Catterick Garrison FC Sharks) has been postponed due to the hard frost making the pitch unsafe to play on. It will be rescheduled for later in the season.

We have no scheduled game this Sunday (22nd Jan) and all of the other teams in the league are playing so I haven't been able to organise a friendly.

So - Training as usual: 9:00-10:30 on Saturday - please be there early and ready to start promptly.

The following week (Sun 29th Jan) we have an away fixture vs Catterick Garrison FC Sharks - details next week.
