The Bob Thornton Award
Presentation day 2024 saw the introduction of The Bob Thornton Award and The Bob Thornton Youth Award. Named in honour of Bob who has selflessly volunteered at the club for nearly 40 years, the awards are to recognise the individual volunteers deserving of the accolades, nominated by the members of the club during the May nomination window.
Congratulations to both Darren Rhodes and Jack Hankin who are the first recipients of the awards. A full write up of both volunteers can be read in the July newsletter.
