New Website Launch!!

Welcome to the new website for Catterick Village JFC.

We have used this downtime due to COVID-19 to build our new website. We have made it simpler and easier to navigate and it will render better on mobile phones and tablets. As we progress towards a restart of football we will update the Teams pages with more information.

As of now all team age groups are for the new season (from September 2020).

Status of Football Activities for CVJFC

We are aware that there is a mix of feelings on restarting junior football activities currently. We have heard from those who are keen to start ASAP and others who are more cautious. We are also aware that some junior clubs in our region have started some activities.

Currently the Sports Association who control the use of the facilities (Grounds and Pavilion) are not allowing any activities for all groups and users unless specific and explicit permission is granted. See the CVSA update HERE

We have been granted permission to run a trial of COVID-19 Safe training sessions for our U14s squad.

Thanks to some hard work from Jason, Daz and Andy the CVJFC Management Committee have given the go ahead for some initial sessions which we will then review and consider the suitability for other age groups. This has been taken very seriously and the club are fortunate to have expertise from officials and coaches with relevant CV19 experience in their professions (construction, school leadership and teaching, warehouse management).

See the plans & risk assessment documents in the photos to the right ==>

The first session is planned to take place this weekend.

The Management Committee take the safety and well-being of our players, their families, our coaches and officials very seriously and we will not endanger people's health in a rush to return to football and we also note that this is now in the traditional close-season period.

We will provide further updates once we have reviewed our trial.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO THE NEXT SECTIONS AND ENSURE YOU FOLLOW THE GUIDANCE TO REGISTER WITH THE CLUB.

ONLY PLAYERS FORMALLY REGISTERED FOR THE NEW SEASON VIA THE ONLINE FORM (BELOW) WILL BE COVERED BY THE FA INSURANCE AND ABLE TO TAKE PART IN OUR TRAINING AND MATCH ACTIVITIES.

Online All Club Meeting - 2nd July 7:30pm

We will be arranging an ALL CLUB ONLINE meeting for the evening of Thursday 2nd of July.

Please ensure you keep this date free and join us.

Full details and Agenda will be made available shortly.

Player Registration

As you are all aware, we are currently in unprecedented times where the future is uncertain for everyone. This is the same for grassroots sports and although we have no idea as to when we can fully recommence footballing activities, CVJFC still have to plan for the new 2020/21 season which would start in September.

Part of that process is that we must affiliate our teams with the leagues that we wish to take part in for the new season. With this in mind we have opened our registrations for the new season NOW. Please follow the link below and register your child for the new season with CVJFC.

2020/21 Player Registration Form

At the moment we are not taking any action relating to fees for the new season until we have been given approval to start football. This will be announced at a later date. All we require at the moment is that you register your child so that our coaches and volunteers can do the required admin work in preparation of your child's return to football. The more we do now, the easier it will be upon your return.
