Club Update - 20th February 2021

We hope that everybody is well and staying safe during this current lockdown. All coaches are missing training just as much as the kids are and are hopeful that we can see each other again soon. Hopefully we will learn more from the FA on the resumption of footballing activities when the Government announce their roadmap out of the restrictions that we are currently adhering to. As soon as we have any information we will pass it on.

During this current lockdown the Management Committee have been kept busy with various admin tasks that required doing along with new projects that we wanted the club to be a part of. Details of these are as follows:

NRCFA Safeguarding Audit - January 2021

The club recently had an audit completed on them by the North Riding County Football Association. This highlighted things that were being done well by the club and also informed us of some extra documents that we needed to have available for our members. Following this we have completely revamped the Welfare page of the website so that it now includes

  • Contact details of the Club Welfare Official (CWO) along with a club statement and link to the NRCFA Safeguarding page

  • Links to external organisations (childnet, NSPCC, Childline, CEOP) should anybody ever need to use any of these

  • Codes of Conduct fully displayed for Young Players, Spectators & Parents/Carers and Coaches, Team Managers & Club Officials

  • Downloadable links for Child Welfare documents

Please take a few minutes to have a look at the new page and familiarise yourself with the Codes of Conduct for everybody involved within the Club.

We have also added a Documents Page to the website. Here you will find links for downloadable copies of all CVJFC official documents.
