We had a great turnout for our club visit to the Darlington match at the weekend with players, coaches and parents representing all age-groups and squads.
The highlight for the players was the stadium tour including the dressing room and meeting some of the players...
	...and of course being the guard of honour as the teams ran out on to the pitch.

The BBC have a short highlight's clip including the teams running out and guard of honour (it was also shown on BBC1's The Football League Show on Saturday night) on their football web site.

It is with great sadness we have to report on the passing of Karen Norrie last week.

Karen was part of our U8s section, wife of our coach Sandy and the mother of Calum. She was also known to many of our community through her work at the village pre-school.

Karen lost a brave and courageous battle against cancer and will be missed by us all.

Our sympathies and thoughts are with Sandy, Calum and the rest of their family.

Karen's Funeral will be on Thursday 4th February at Darlington Crematorium at 1.15.

The family have requested no flowers and would prefer instead donations to St Teresa's Hospice (www.darlingtonhospice.org.uk).
